WRITING/DIRECTING DUO

The Nüesch Sisters, Flo and Kim, are an award-winning directing duo based in London and Zurich. They create emotionally driven and visually precise films, commercials, and music videos, often exploring family, identity, and the female perspective through a blend of drama, sci-fi, and surrealism. Raised in a creative Swiss household, they've collaborated since childhood and honed their craft at ArtCenter. Their dark comedy sci-fi short, "Marriage Unplugged," was a Sony Future Filmmaker Awards finalist, and they received the St. Gallen Cultural Foundation’s Emerging Artist Award. Other accolades include a Cannes Young Director Award (Silver), a Jury Prize at the Leeds International Film Festival, and a UK Music Video Awards nomination. They are currently developing two feature screenplays.

MARRIAGE UNPLUGGED

Suzanna and Andrew have been unhappy for a while. When yet another argument prompts the couple to venture into a sex robot shop, Suzanna, very much to Andrew’s displeasure, decides to buy one. To make matters worse, the new household addition is a male model named James. But James turns out to be more than a mere sex toy and unwittingly uncovers the very fractures that damaged Andrew and Suzanna’s marriage in the first place.

FORGET ME NOT

Set in the 1970's, the short film centers on two little girls, who struggle with their mother’s bipolar disease that constantly disrupts their lives and burdens them to grow up early.
