Karan Batta

Karan Batta is an Indian American screenwriter whose work has drawn attention from Conan O’Brien, Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door, and Rolling Stone.  His unique voice led to a development deal with Funny or Die. His writing is fueled by his surreal experiences as a POC and organ transplant survivor.  Before transitioning into screenwriting, Batta built a notable music career, signing with Universal Music Group and contributing to major projects, including completing unreleased tracks for the 2Pac estate. He also collaborated with Hittman and Dr. Dre & Eminem protégés Stat Quo and Bobby Creekwater, earning a VH1 nomination for Best Hip-Hop Artist.
