WRITER/DIRECTOR

Alejandra is a Puerto Rican writer-director whose work blends action, politics, and identity with emotional depth and nuance. Her award-winning short film The Blue Cape screened at ten Oscar®-qualifying festivals, including Palm Springs, Aspen Shortfest, and Guadalajara. She made history as the first Latina to direct for Marvel Entertainment with the Spanish-language narrative podcast Wolverine: La Larga Noche, starring Joaquín Cosío. She went on to direct Tejana for Telemundo, starring Stephanie Beatriz, and has also directed Bad Bunny for W Magazine.

Alejandra has been selected for prestigious programs including the 2025 Sundance Institute Cultural Impact Residency, Warner Bros. Discovery Access Director’s Program, Women In Film Directing Fellowship, Ryan Murphy’s Half Initiative, and the Disney Directing Program (finalist). She was a staff writer on Sony Pictures Television’s Startup and participated in the Starz #TakeTheLead Writers’ Intensive and Rideback Rise Circle. With acting training and extensive global travel, Alejandra brings authenticity and a bold cinematic voice to every project.
