Alejandra Castro Castillo
WRITER
Born as a queer Mexican on the border of Mexicali, Baja California, and growing up in Arizona, Alejandra’s writing pulls from personal experience and features misfit characters in exile. Alejandra attended college in New Mexico at Santa Fe University of Art And Design with a full-ride scholarship from Robert Redford of the Unique Voice Initiative. During her time, she worked 4 years on union productions, such as feature film, Hostiles. Alejandra has written for Selena: The Series (Part 2) on Netflix, for New York Times podcast “Modern Love”, and has pitched to multiple television studios on original work and I.P. She is bilingual in Spanish & English (speaking/writing), and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA as a WGAW member.
